Overview
STAV Creative was tasked with creating the identity system for Lively Beach—a new hotel resort on the coast of Mustang Island, Texas. As the entry point to Port Aransas, Lively Beach was designed to inspire a younger generation of South Texas vacationers. Our team worked with the architect, builder, and developer to design a brand experience for the spirited and curious.
I co-lead the identity design of Lively Beach, bringing unique character to a brand that stands out among the dozens of resorts in neighboring Port Aransas.
The Logo Suite
After reviewing the initial plans for Lively Beach, I imagined a geometric style logo that would be highly recognizable. Lively Beach is a riad-style hotel, comprised of six different building structures. Along with representing the 6 structures, the logo is a geometric representation of the letters "L-I-V-E-L-Y". By contrasting the organic feel of the beach, I created a mark that would convey modernity, youth, and energy.
